La Bocca Della Verità was born from the vision of Marco Montuori, an internationally recognized pizza chef and master of the art of pinsaiolo. Driven by his passion for artisanal supplì and high-quality fried foods, Marco founded the company with the aim of introducing the true Roman supplì to the market, crafted with artisanal techniques and top-quality ingredients. Our mission is to make Roman supplì known worldwide, preserving the authenticity of tradition while always looking toward the future.
The story of La Bocca Della Verità is rooted in precious family memories and moments of deep connection. As a child, I spent long hours with my grandmother, an extraordinary woman who poured love into every gesture while preparing her famous supplì. Every time I entered her kitchen, I was enveloped by the intoxicating aroma of ragù and rice slowly cooking. It was more than just cooking.
While making supplì, my grandmother would share stories from her youth. Each supplì she created was not just food, but a gesture of love, a piece of her personal story encapsulated in every bite. Those simple yet meaningful moments were my first true workshop, where I learned the value of craftsmanship and tradition.
